Background

In 1972, International Distillers & Vinters established a distillery and bottling plant on the island to produce, amongst other international brands, the Green Island rum.

Green Island superior rum is therefore available since more than 30 years, and since that time has enjoyed steady growth both in terms of volume and reputation.

IT is the first and best known premium rum to be distilled, blended and exported from Mauritius.
